GVC Easter Road Festival Race 1


This years Easter Festival takes place on the 30th March - 2nd April 

We will be having 2 Road Races and 2 TT’s and like last year, the GC will be decided on total elapsed time over the 4 events, both road races will also feature sprint laps with bonus seconds being awarded for the top 3 in each division.

Stage One 30th March 7:30am (Sign on 7:00am) Road Race - Mont Saint Course - Start/Finish at Richmond End of Vazon - Sign on at Richmond Slipway Car Park - All parking at Surfers Car Park or Vistas (Please do not park at Richmond Kiosk) 10/8/8/6 Laps Including Sprint Laps for all divisions - See GVC.GG Calendar for course details)

Stage Two 31st March 7.30am(Sign on 6:45) 10 Mile Time Trial - Meet at Cobo Car Park.

Stage Three 1st April 7.30am (Sign on 7:00) 8/6/5/4 Laps including Sprint Laps Road Race (52/39/32/26 Miles)  Frie Baton Long Circuit (Gele Road and Coast Road to Perelle) Sign on at St Saviours Community Centre (1 Lap TT for Under 16’s) start/finish Frie Baton

Stage Four 2nd April 7:30am(sign on 6:45) 25 Mile Time Trial (5 Miles for riders Under 14) Meet at L’Eree Car Park.

General classification will be on total elapsed time, rather than points. 

Top 3 in each sprint will receive time bonuses

There is no prize money, just glory and bragging rights - 50% all entries fees will be donated to Guernsey Mind

You will be asked to enter your RR division on the entry form. This will be subject to scrutiny and will be adjusted if you choose a division lower than your apparent ability. Appeals will be considered once the programme has been issued.

Subsidiary Race Regulations.

Stages 1 and 3 will be run under Guernsey Velo Club division rules. Non-Guernsey riders will be placed in categories according to information available. Groups will start at one minute intervals and will not race against other groups. If there are more than 8 ladies we will run a separate category.

Stage 2 Riders will start in reverse order to their standing in the GC - ie First place in GC will be last to start. 

Stage 4 Riders will start at 30 second intervals, with the field laid out as per Stage 2.

This event is open to non-members 

N.B. Riders with work commitments on 31st March and 2nd April may start first or last on request (please notify organisers when entering). Please note this concession is only open to riders with genuine work commitments.
Riders aged 12 - 15 have their own classification, but will only ride one lap in the first and third stages.

Minimum Age
The Guernsey Four-Day is open to riders at least 12 years of age
